Je sais donc gré au rapporteur, ainsi qu’à la commission du développement régional, d’avoir accepté ma proposition visant à élargir la définition des inondations pour la rendre plus globale et garantir que des inondations causées par de fortes averses soient également intégrées au champ d’application de cette nouvelle législation.
I am therefore grateful that the rapporteur, as well as the Committee on Regional Development, have accepted my proposal to widen the definition of floods to make it more comprehensive and to ensure that floods caused by heavy rainfall are also incorporated within the meaning of this new law.
