(A) cette demande se fonde sur l'article 2, point c), du règlement (CE) n° 1927/2006 (règlement FEM) et concerne 257 travailleurs licenciés par l'entreprise Saint-Gobain Sekurit (SGS) Benelux, spécialisée dans le secteur de la production de verre de sécurité destiné à l'industrie automobile et située à Auvelais, près de Sambreville, pendant la période de référence allant du 31 août 2013 au 31 décembre 2013;
(A) Whereas this application is based on Article 2(c) of Regulation (EC) No 1927/2006 (EGF Regulation) and relates to 257 workers dismissed in Saint-Gobain Sekurit (SGS) Benelux in the sector of the manufacture of safety glass for the automotive industry in Auvelais, near Sambreville, within the reference period from 31 August 2013 to 31 December 2013;

Ayant travaillé dans le secteur automobile pendant près de 30 ans, j’éprouve la plus grande compassion pour les travailleurs de Genk ainsi que pour beaucoup d’autres employés, notamment ceux qui, dans ma propre circonscription, ont dû faire face à des restructurations de ce genre.
