La Commission européenne a décidé aujourd’hui de lancer une procédure d’infraction à l’encontre de la Hongrie concernant la mise en œuvre du projet de centrale nucléaire Paks II. À l’issue d’échanges d’informations avec les autorités hongroises et d’un examen minutieux des modalités d’attribution du marché, la Commission reste préoccupée par la compatibilité du projet avec les règles de l’Union en matière de marchés publics.
The European Commission decided today to launch an infringement procedure against Hungary concerning the implementation of the Paks II nuclear power plant project. Following exchanges of information with the Hungarian authorities and a thorough assessment of the terms of the award, the Commission still has concerns regarding the compatibility of the project with EU public procurement rules.
