Nous visions deux objectifs en commandant ce rapport. D'une part, nous voulions aider les Premières Nations à comprendre comment une approche modélisée pourrait les amener à participer aux investissements et à travailler en partenariat avec l'industrie et, d'autre part, nous voulions mettre en évidence l'ampleur des retombées économiques dont pourraient bénéficier les collectivités des Premières Nations et le pays grâce à cette participation.
In commissioning this report, our objective was twofold: To assist First Nations in understanding how a modelled approach could result in their participation as equity partners with industry and to highlight the magnitude of the economic benefits First Nation communities and the country could stand to receive from their participation.
