La députée peut-elle nous dire si cette approche fragmentée sert mieux l'intérêt public qu'une approche mieux coordonnée d'évaluation des priorités et des besoins des différentes régions du Québec et des autres régions du Canada, ou si chaque député doit se contenter de se battre pour sa région au mépris du bien commun?
Could the member give us some thoughts as to whether this piecemeal approach, as opposed to a more coordinated approach to assessing the priorities and the needs of the various regions of Quebec or other parts of Canada, would provide better public interest, or whether it is simply a matter of every member of Parliament fighting for his or her own region as opposed to the greater public good?
