The conclusions of the Forum are intended to provide inputs into the policy- making process of the EU, i.e. into the Inter-governmental conference on the EU Treaty, the follow-up to the G7 Summit meeting on employment taking place on 1 April in Lille, the revision of the EU's multi-annual Social Action Programme, discussions on international issues within the framework of the UN, negotiations with applicant Member States on adhesion to the EU, and the work being done bilaterally with the USA, Japan and Canada on employment and health issues.
