In view of the conclusions on the situation of the Union industry set out at recitals 70 to 72, and pursuant to the arguments relating to the analysis on the likelihood of recurrence of injury as explained in recitals 74 to 79, it can also be considered that the Union industry would be likely to experience a serious deterioration of its financial situation in case the anti-dumping duties were allowed to expire, and this would lead to the recurrence of material injury.

(145) Sur la base des informations disponibles à ce stade, il apparaît que l'institution des droits antidumping entraînerait vraisemblablement une augmentation sensible du volume total de la production communautaire, puisque l'industrie communautaire a pour stratégie d'augmenter d'abord ses volumes de ventes (et de réduire ainsi ses coûts de production unitaire), plutôt que d'augmenter ses prix, pour améliorer sa compétitivité.
(145) On the basis of the information available at this stage, the imposition of anti-dumping duties would probably result in a significant increase in the overall volume of Community production, since it is the strategy of the Community industry primarily to increase their sales volumes (and thus to lower their unit production cost), rather than to increase their prices, in order to further improve their competitiveness.
