Quant aux fonctionnaires, si on retourne quelques dizaines d'années en arrière, la plupart des anglophones du Québec préféraient faire carrière dans leur langue, donc au fédéral, où la fonction publique était anglaise, et les francophones aimaient mieux aller vers la fonction publique provinciale parce que c'était dans leur langue.
As for public servants, if we go back to the situation the way it was 10 or so years ago, we can see that most of the anglophones from Quebec preferred to work in their language, and therefore at the federal, where the public service was English, and the francophones preferred to work in the provincial public service because they could work in their language.
