Toutefois, cela n'excuse pas l'irresponsabilité du gouvernement dans ce dossier. Le 2 mai, on devait s'y attendre et cela aurait dû se passer ainsi: le gouvernement aurait dû répondre énergiquement à cette attaque américaine en annonçant la mise sur pied d'un programme pour aider l'industrie à traverser cette période de crise, pour aider les travailleurs et les travailleuses afin qu'ils ne soient pas victimes des sanctions américaines.
This was to be expected, and this is what should have happened on May 2: the government should have reacted energetically to this American action by announcing a program to help the industry make it through this crisis, to help workers, so that they do not become the victims of the U.S. sanctions.
