Le Bureau de la recherche du Parlement a fait remarquer dans son document d'accompagnement de ce projet de loi qu'il avait été convenu d'utiliser comme identificateur un numéro aléatoire auquel seraient associés certains éléments d'identification et qui ne servirait que pour les fins de la Loi électorale du Canada.
The research bureau of Parliament has pointed out in their paper on this matter that accompanies the bill that it was agreed that a randomly selected number would have certain identification attached to it that could be used only for purposes of the Canada Elections Act.
