On 5 December 2008, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertaking Mauser Holding International GmbH (‘Mauser Holding International’, Germany) (an entity of the Mauser Group and controlled by Dubai Holding) and Reyde, S.A (‘Reyde’, Spain) (an entity part of the Group Armando Álvarez) acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation joint control of a newly created company constituting a joint venture — the undertaking Mauser Reyde Ibérica, S.L (Spain) — by way of purchase of shares.

If we break down these figures by Member State, the Member States with the highest number of actions for injunction reported, as from 2008 are as follows: Germany: although there is a lack of centralized and comprehensive statistical data, the Federal Republic of Germany declared that just seven German qualified entities had introduced over 3,000 actions.
