1. La présente décision établit un programme d'action communautaire pour le soutien aux entités oeuvrant dans le domaine de la citoyenneté européenne active et la promotion d'actions dans ce domaine.
1. This Decision establishes a Community action programme to support bodies working in the field of active European citizenship and to promote actions in this field.

« 16 (1) Quand la Section de première instance de la Cour fédérale - ou la Cour fédérale d'appel ou la Cour suprême du Canada, advenant un appel ou des appels - a décidé de façon définitive, par prépondérance des probabilités ou par défaut, suite à une instance introduite par le ministre sous l'empire de la législation antérieure ou suite à une action introduite par le ministre sous l'empire du présent article, que l'attribution, la conservation ou la répudiation de la citoyenneté ou la réintégration dans celle-ci est intervenue par fraude ou au moyen d'une fausse déclaration ou de la dissimulation intentionnelle de faits essentiels, la Cour rend une ordonnance révoquant la citoyenneté de l'intéressé ou la répudiation par celui-ci de sa citoyenneté, si cette révocation n'a pas déjà eu lieu sous l'empire de la législation antérieure».
" 16 (1) Where the Federal Court Trial Division, on a proceeding commenced by the Minister under prior legislation or an action commenced by the Minister under this section, or the Federal Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court of Canada in the case of an appeal or appeals, has finally decided, on a balance of probabilities or by default, that a person has obtained, retained, renounced or resumed citizenship by false representation or fraud or knowingly concealing material circumstances, the Court shall make an order revoking the citizenship of that person or the renunciation of citizenship by that person if it has not already been revoked under prior legislation" .

5. Equality of opportunity between women and men - A medium-term strategy will be launched entailing action on a number of fronts reconciling working and family life, desegregating the labour market and extending the principle of equal treatment and promoting the concept of citizenship for women (gender-balance in decision-making, strengthening of active citizenship).
