Etats-Unis : Evoquant les problemes commerciaux existants ou potentiels qui opposent la Communaute et les Etats-Unis, Mr de Clercq a renouvele sa preoccupation face aux initiatives prises par le Congres americain qui si elles devaient aboutir "constitueraient beaucoup plus qu'un probleme bilateral et mettraient en cause la viabilite du systeme commercial international dans son ensemble".
USA : on existing or potential trade problems between the Community and United States, Mr De Clercq has stressed again his concerne about recent initiatives of the US Congress which if they were to succeed "would go far beyond creating a bilateral problem, they would call into question the viability of the open world trading system".
