Vice-President Martin Bangemann recently sent a letter to the President of the Belgian Football Union (URBSFA - Union Royale Belge des Sociétés de Football-Association) asking for its reaction to the complaint made to the European Commission by Mr Jean-Marc Bosman, a professional footballer whose contract with the Football Club de Liège expired in May 1990 and who is currently playing in the French championship.
