2. Any recording of an international registration designating the Community in the International Register shall have the same effect as if it had been made in the register of Community designs of the Office, and any publication of an international registration designating the Community in the Bulletin of the International Bureau shall have the same effect as if it had been published in the Community Designs Bulletin.

Il doit être d'une qualité suffisante pour distinguer clairement tous les détails de l'objet pour lequel la protection est demandée et permettre sa réduction ou son agrandissement au format maximal de 8 cm x 16 cm par vue pour son inscription au registre des dessins ou modèles communautaires prévu à l'article 72 du règlement (CE) n° 6/2002, ci-après dénommé "le registre", et pour sa publication directe dans le Bulletin des dessins ou modèles communautaires visé à l'article 73 dudit règlement.
It shall be of a quality permitting all the details of the matter for which protection is sought to be clearly distinguished and permitting it to be reduced or enlarged to a size no greater than 8 cm by 16 cm per view for entry in the Register of Community Designs provided for in Article 72 of Regulation (EC) No 6/2002, hereinafter "the Register", and for direct publishing in the Community Designs Bulletin referred to in Article 73 of that Regulation.

Toute demande est transmise à l’OHMI qui procède à son examen formel et accorde, le cas échéant, le dessin ou modèle communautaire au demandeur en l’inscrivant au registre des dessins ou modèles communautaires.
All applications are transmitted to OHIM, which conducts a formal examination and, where applicable, grants the Community design to the applicant by entering it in the Community design register.

En temps utile avant l'expiration de l'enregistrement, l'Office informe de cette expiration le titulaire du dessin ou modèle communautaire enregistré ainsi que tout titulaire d'un droit inscrit au registre des dessins ou modèles communautaires, visé à l'article 72, ci-après dénommé "registre", sur ce dessin ou modèle communautaire enregistré.

The Office shall inform the right holder of the registered Community design and any person having a right entered in the register of Community designs, referred to in Article 72, hereafter referred to as the "register" in respect of the registered Community design, of the expiry of the registration in good time before the said expiry.
