8. se félicite de l'approche économique en matière d'aides d'État en faveur de l'innovation et souscrirait à l'instauration de règles ex ante, le cas échéant, pour autant qu'elles soient transparentes, non discriminatoires et réalisables et apportent une sécurité juridique; insiste pour que la Commission, en coopération étroite avec le Parlement, revoie et évalue périodiquement l'adéquation de telles règles; souligne que les critères d'octroi de subventions en faveur de l'innovation devraient refléter plusieurs facteurs, tels que les caractéristiques du secteur économique, la structure du marché et la puissance de l'entreprise sur le marché;

Welcomes the economic approach to State aid for innovation and would welcome the introduction of ex ante rules, where appropriate, if these are transparent, non-discriminatory, practicable, and provide for legal certainty; insists that the Commission, in close cooperation with Parliament, periodically review and evaluate the appropriateness of such rules; it should be emphasised that criteria for granting subsidies for innovation should be conditional on several factors, such as the characteristics of the economic sector, the market structure, and the market power of the company;

8. se félicite de l'approche économique en matière d'aides d'État en faveur de l'innovation et souscrirait à l'instauration de règles ex ante, le cas échéant, pour autant qu'elles soient transparentes, non discriminatoires et réalisables et apportent une certitude juridique; insiste pour que la Commission, en coopération étroite avec le Parlement, revoie et évalue périodiquement l'adéquation de telles règles; souligne également que les critères d'octroi de subventions en faveur de l'innovation devraient être subordonnés à plusieurs facteurs, tels que les secteurs économiques dans lesquels l'entreprise a son activité, la structure du marché et la puissance de l'entreprise sur le marché;
