IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

(a) if, when determining a revenue base referred to in paragraph 5(a) or 8(1)(a) for a fiscal year, information from T1 tax returns that are assessed or reassessed by the Canada Revenue Agency during the last three months of the calendar year that ends in the following fiscal year is not available for the purpose of calculating the simulated average revenue yield relating to personal income for the province for the taxation year that ends in the fiscal year, the Minister may use in place of that yield the product of

Encourages universities to bring their programmes and structures more closely into line with the specific needs of the labour market, to consider the needs of businesses when developing their curricula and to pursue new methods of cooperation with private and public companies by encouraging the creation of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and sponsorships, while fostering and supporting youth entrepreneurship;

10. demande instamment au Conseil et à la Commission de tenir les promesses de l'UE et de répondre aux attentes du peuple d'Ukraine qui tourne de plus en plus ses regards vers l'UE en offrant à ce pays des possibilités concrètes de s'intégrer davantage, des points de vue politique, économique et social, aux structures et politiques européennes; engage dès lors la Commission à poursuivre et à accélérer les négociations relatives au nouvel accord d'association qui aidera l'Ukraine à se rapprocher progressivement de l'UE sur la base d'une responsabilité et d'une prise en main partagées de la part des deux parties; invite la Commission à aligner étroitement le programme d'association sur le programme indicatif national 2011-2013;
10. Urges the Council and the Commission to deliver on the EU promises and address the expectations of the Ukrainian people, who are increasingly looking to the EU to provide more specific opportunities for integrating further politically, economically and socially into European structures and policies, and therefore encourages the Commission to continue and accelerate the negotiations on the new Association Agreement, which is to assist Ukraine in its gradual approximation to the EU on the basis of joint responsibility and joint ownership by the two parties; calls on the Commission to align closely the Association Agenda with the National Indicative Programme 2011-13;

The Spanish Presidency's work programme for enlargement with respect to Turkey is fully in line with the Laeken European Council conclusions, which note that Turkey's progress towards complying with the political criteria "has brought forward the prospect of the opening of accession negotiations" and which state that "the pre-accession strategy for Turkey should mark a new stage in analysing its preparedness for alignment on the acquis".

The measures under the programme underpin the health strategy of the Community and will yield Community added value by responding to needs in health policy and health systems arising out of conditions and structures established through Community action in other fields, by addressing new developments, new threats and new problems for which the Community would be in a better position to act to protect its people, by bringing together activities undertaken in relative isolation and with limited impact at national level and by complementing them in order to achieve positive results for the people of the Community, and by contributing to the strengthening of solidarity and cohesion in the Community.
