Dans le but de mieux adapter à la croissance des besoins en statistiques les ressources limitées dont disposent les producteurs nationaux et européens pour la production de statistiques européennes, la phase d’élaboration des programmes de travail statistiques annuels de la Commission, qui déclinent dans le détail le programme pluriannuel, devrait inclure un réexamen systématique et approfondi des priorités statistiques afin de réduire les exigences de moindre importance et de simplifier les processus existants, tout en améliorant la fiabilité et en maintenant le niveau élevé de qualité de la statistique officielle.
With the aim of better matching the limited resources available to national and European producers for producing European statistics with the increasing needs for statistics, the preparation phase of the Commission’s annual statistical work programmes, which spell out in detail the multiannual programme, should include a systematic and thorough review of statistical priorities that will reduce less important requirements and simplify existing processes, while at the same time improving the reliability and maintaining the high-quality standards of official statistics.

In the light of the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on reduction of the response burden, simplification and priority-setting in the field of Community statistics, the preparation of the annual statistical work programmes of the Commission should take account of the need for ongoing review of statistical priorities, including the simplification of processes and the reduction of requirements of declining importance, with a view to making the best use of available resources.

5. Comme indiqué à l'article 3, les objectifs du programme pour l'éducation et la formation tout au long de la vie sont poursuivis par la mise en œuvre de quatre programmes sectoriels, d'un programme transversal et du programme Jean Monnet, dénommés collectivement ci-après «les sous-programmes».
5. As set out in Article 3, the objectives of the Lifelong Learning Programme shall be pursued through the implementation of four sectoral programmes, one transversal programme, and the Jean Monnet programme, hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘the sub-programmes’.

(3) Dans le cadre des mesures de réglementation du stock de thon obèse et d'espadon, afin d'améliorer la qualité et la fiabilité des données statistiques et de lutter contre le développement de la pêche illégale, la CICTA a adopté, d'une part, une recommandation visant à créer un programme de document statistique pour le thon obèse, d'autre part une recommandation visant à créer un programme de document statistique pour l'espadon atlantique.
(3) As part of the measures to regulate stocks of bigeye tuna and swordfish, improve the quality and reliability of statistical data and control the spread of illegal fishing, the ICCAT has adopted recommendations on the introduction of statistical document programmes for bigeye tuna and Atlantic swordfish.
