Cet accord devrait s'inscrire dans un programme mondial et régional plus large de lutte contre le terrorisme et faire partie intégrante de la stratégie de lutte contre le terrorisme de l'Union, dès lors que les données PNR constituent un instrument important dans ce domaine.
The agreement should fit into a wider global and regional agenda on the fight against terrorism and be part of the EU's counter-terrorism strategy since PNR data are an important instrument in combating terrorist offences.

Dissemination of the data shall be undertaken either in the ‘pull mode’, i.e. by downloading from the data centres web sites; or in the ‘push mode’, whereby regular data files will be provided to the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Global Telecommunication System (GTS), to the International Argo Data Centres, to the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet), to the Copernicus Marine Service and to specific users upon request.

Calls on the Commission and Member States to develop and encourage research initiatives aimed at gathering data on the situation and needs of older people in European society, making clear the difference in the situation of the third age and the fourth age; calls on all the institutions and actors involved at worldwide level to increase cooperation by developing common research, policy making and programmes, the analysis and processing of statistics, including data disaggregated by sex, age and other factors, and regular performance reviews;
