Pursuant to Article 2 of Decision 2007/198/Euratom and to the Agreements in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Atomic Energy Community and the Swiss Confederation (i) on the application of the Agreement on the Establishment of the ITER International Fusion Energy Organization for the joint implementation of the ITER Project, the Agreement on the Privileges and Immunities of the ITER International Fusion Energy Organization for the Joint Implementation of the ITER Project and the Agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community and the Government of Japan for the joint implementation of the Broader Approach Activities in the field of fusion energy research to the territory of the Swiss Confederation and (ii) on Switzerland's membership in the European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy of 28 November 2007, Switzerland became a member of the European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy as a third State having associated its research programme to the Euratom fusion programme,

These include Public-Public Partnerships in research through Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) and Article 185 Initiatives; PPPs arising from the Joint Technology Initiatives (JTIs); the Recovery Plan PPPs; and, the European Industrial Initiatives under the SET Plan.

2. La clôture du programme opérationnel conjoint n’affecte pas le droit de la Commission de procéder, le cas échéant, à des corrections financières ultérieures à l’égard de l’autorité de gestion commune ou des bénéficiaires des projets si le montant final éligible du programme ou des projets devait être révisé à la suite de contrôles effectués après la date de clôture.
2. The closure of the operational programme shall not prejudice the Commission's right to undertake, at a later stage, financial corrections vis-à-vis the Joint Managing Authority or the project beneficiaries if the final amount of the programme or the projects has to be readjusted as a result of controls carried out after the closure date.
