Les dirigeants européens sont bien obligés de se réveiller face à l’ampleur du phénomène et commencent à s’émouvoir, sans pour autant les dénoncer, des conséquences désastreuses des criminels accords de Schengen et des formidables appels d’air que constituent les régularisations en masse des sans-papiers en Espagne ou en Italie (plus d’1 150 000 étrangers régularisés par l’Espagne depuis 1985).
European leaders are necessarily having to wake up to the extent of this phenomenon and are beginning to get worried about the disastrous consequences – which they do not, for all that, condemn - of the iniquitous Schengen agreements and of the way in which the mass regularisation in Spain and Italy of the status of undocumented immigrants (more than 1 150 000 foreigners have had their status regularised by Spain since 1985) has acted as an extraordinary incentive to other potential immigrants.
