Sans préjudice de la décision politique relative aux sièges des agences de l’Union, de l’intérêt de la répartition géographique et des objectifs fixés par les États membres en ce qui concerne les sièges des nouvelles agences, figurant dans les conclusions des représentants des États membres réunis au niveau des chefs d’État ou de gouvernement le 13 décembre 2003 à Bruxelles, et rappelés dans les conclusions du Conseil européen de juin 2008, des critères objectifs devraient être pris en considération dans le processus décisionnel concernant le choix de l’implantation des bureaux locaux de l’Agence.
Without prejudice to the political decision regarding Union agencies’ seats, to the desirability of geographical spread and to the objectives set by Member States as regards new agencies’ seats, as contained in the conclusions of the Representatives of the Member States, meeting at Head of State or Government level in Brussels on 13 December 2003, and recalled in the European Council conclusions of June 2008, objective criteria should be taken into account in the decision-making process for choosing a location for the Agency’s local offices.
