TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

La présente proposition de règlement vise à améliorer le fonctionnement du marché intérieur en ce qui concerne les utilisations licites des nouvelles substances psychoactives, en aplanissant les obstacles au commerce, en prévenant leur apparition et en renforçant la sécurité juridique pour les opérateurs économiques, tout en réduisant les possibilités de se procurer des substances à risque au moyen d’une action plus rapide, plus efficace et plus proportionnée de l’Union.
This proposal for a Regulation aims at improving the functioning of the internal market regarding licit uses of new psychoactive substances, by reducing obstacles to trade, preventing the emergence of such obstacles and increasing legal certainty for economic operators, while reducing the availability of substances that pose risks through swifter, more effective and more proportionate EU action.

2 (1) When a pH adjusting agent, acid-reacting material or water correcting agent that is set out in column 1 of the List is added to a food that is set out in column 2, the food is exempt from the application of paragraphs 4(1)(a) and (d) and sections 6 and 6.1 of the Food and Drugs Act and sections B.01.042, B.01.043 and B.16.007, and subsection B.25.062(1), as applicable, of the Food and Drug Regulations, in respect of the use or presence of the agent or material only, if the amount of the agent or material does not exceed the maximum level of use for that food that is set out in column 3 and if any other condition that is set out in that column is met.

3. L’agent rajusteur du pH, la substance à réaction acide ou l’agent correcteur de l’eau figurant à la colonne 1 de la Liste est soustrait à l’application de l’article B.16.100 du Règlement sur les aliments et drogues si, au moment de la vente, l’ensemble des autres exigences applicables à l’égard de cet agent ou de cette substance dans ce même règlement sont respectées.
3. A pH adjusting agent, acid-reacting material, or water correcting agent that is set out in column 1 of the List is exempt from the application of section B.16.100 of the Food and Drug Regulations if, at the time of sale, all of the other requirements in those Regulations that apply in respect of the agent or material are met.
