Les activités proposées dans le cadre de ce projet engageront la communauté scientifique et technique à se pencher sur des questions techniques particulières et à développer des démarches innovantes de nature à améliorer les performances actuelles du TICE et l’évaluation de celles-ci, au moyen, d’abord, d’ateliers ciblés visant à explorer de nouvelles idées, puis, en développant et en essayant les techniques prometteuses dans le cadre de démarches réalisables.
The proposed activities of this project will engage the scientific and technical community in examining specific technical issues and developing innovative processes that improve upon the existing CTBT performance and its assessment, first through a set of targeted workshops to explore the new ideas, and second by testing the promising techniques and developing them into workable processes.

(35) Il importe d'adapter, de clarifier et de rendre conformes aux dispositions générales les dispositions applicables aux fonctionnaires des cadres scientifique et technique et aux fonctionnaires affectés dans des pays tiers.
(35) The provisions applicable to officials in the scientific and technical services and to officials serving in third countries should be adapted, clarified and brought into line with the general provisions.

La nécessité d'assurer des conditions d'emploi stables et l'égalité de traitement du personnel, compte tenu de l'expérience tirée de l'entreprise commune JET, afin d'attirer un personnel scientifique et technique spécialisé du plus haut niveau, requiert l'application, à l'ensemble du personnel recruté par l'entreprise commune du statut des fonctionnaires des Communautés européennes et du régime applicable aux autres agents des Communautés européennes, fixés par le règlement (CEE, Euratom, CECA) no 259/68 (ci-après dénommé «statut»).
