TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Le fonctionnaire nommé chef d'unité, directeur ou directeur général dans le même grade, bénéficie, pour autant qu'il se soit acquitté de ses fonctions d'une manière satisfaisante au sens de l'article 43 durant les neuf premiers mois suivant sa nomination, d'un avancement d'échelon dans ce grade avec effet à la date de sa nomination.
If an official is appointed head of unit, director or director-general in the same grade, and provided that his performance has been satisfactory within the meaning of Article 43 during the first nine months following his appointment, he shall retroactively benefit from advancement by one step in that grade at the time the appointment comes into effect.

4. Les fonctionnaires des grades A *10 à A *16 et AD 10 à AD 16 qui, en date du 30 avril 2004, occupent un poste de chef d'unité, directeur ou directeur général ou sont nommés par la suite chef d'unité, directeur ou directeur général, et qui se sont acquittés de leurs nouvelles fonctions de manière satisfaisante durant les neuf premiers mois, bénéficient d'une augmentation du traitement mensuel de base correspondant à la différence en pourcentage entre le premier et le deuxième échelon de chacun des grades indiqués dans le tableau de l'article 2, paragraphe 1, et dans le tableau de l'article 8, paragraphe 1.
4. An official in grades A*10 to A*16 and AD 10 to 16 respectively who is on 30 April 2004 head of unit, director or director-general, or is subsequently appointed head of unit, director or director general and has performed his new duties satisfactorily during the first nine months, shall be entitled to an increase in the basic monthly salary corresponding to the percentage between the first and the second step in each grade as set out in the tables in Article 2(1) and Article 8(1) of this Annex.
