In accordance with Article 10(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003, in conjunction with Article 7 thereof, two applications were submitted for the re-evaluation of tocopherol extracts from vegetable oils, tocopherol-rich extracts from vegetable oils (delta rich) and alpha-tocopherol as feed additives and their preparations for all animal species.

Afin de garantir l’application uniforme de la nomenclature combinée, la Commission a adopté le règlement (CE) no 160/2007 du 15 février 2007 relatif au classement de certaines marchandises dans la nomenclature combinée (3), classant sous le code NC 2208 90 69 un produit consistant en un liquide brun foncé, limpide, dégageant une odeur de plantes et dont le goût amer est celui de plantes, d’un titre alcoométrique volumique de 43 % vol et consistant en un mélange de 32 extraits de variétés de plantes médicinales, additionné d’extrait de caramel, d’eau et d’alcool.
In order to ensure uniform application of the Combined Nomenclature, the Commission adopted Regulation (EC) No 160/2007 of 15 February 2007 concerning the classification of certain goods in the Combined Nomenclature (3), classifying a product consisting of a clear, dark brown liquid with an aromatic, herb-like smell and a bitter, herbal taste, having an actual alcoholic strength of 43 % by volume and consisting of a mixture of 32 kinds of medicinal herb extracts with caramel extract, water and alcohol under CN code 2208 90 69.

3. soutient la Commission dans la présentation au Parlement européen et au Conseil d'une communication concernant l'opportunité d'instituer des règles au niveau européen en vue de créer des niveaux plus détaillés dans la nomenclature NUTS, comme il est prévu à l'article 2, paragraphe 5, du règlement (CE) n° 1059/2003 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 26 mai 2003 relatif à l'établissement d'une nomenclature commune des unités territoriales statistiques (NUTS) ;

Supports the Commission in submitting a communication to the European Parliament and the Council on the appropriateness of establishing rules on a Europe-wide basis for more detailed levels in the NUTS classification, as provided for in Article 2(5) of Regulation (EC) N° 1059/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 May 2003 on the establishment of a common classification of territorial units for statistics (NUTS) ;

Les mesures concernant les matières ci-après sont arrêtées selon la procédure définie à l'article 10 : a) application de la nomenclature combinée et du Taric en ce qui concerne notamment : - le classement des marchandises dans les nomenclatures visées à l'article 8, -les notes explicatives; b)modifications de la nomenclature combinée pour tenir compte de l'évolution des besoins en matière de statistiques ou de politique commerciale; c)modifications de l'annexe II; d)modifications de la nomenclature combinée et adaptations des droits conformément aux décisions arrêtées par le Conseil ou la Commission; e)modifications de la nomenclature combinée visant à adapter celle-ci à l'évolution technologique ou commerciale ou tendant à l'alignement et à la clarification des textes; f)modifications de la nomenclature combinée résultant des amendements de la nomenclature du système harmonisé; g)questions relatives à l'application, au fonctionnement et à la gestion du système harmonisé, destinées à être discutées dans le cadre du Conseil de coopération douanière. 2. Les dispositions arrêtées au titre du paragraphe 1 ne peuvent modifier : - les taux des droits de douane, -les prélèvements agricoles, les restitutions ou les autres montants applicables dans le cadre de la politique agricole commune ou dans celui des régimes spécifiques applicables à certaines marchandises résultant de la transformation de produits agricoles, -les restrictions quantitatives établies conformément aux dispositions communautaires, -les nomenclatures adoptées dans le cadre de la politique agricole commune.
Measures relating to the matters set out below shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure defined in Article 10 : (a) application of the combined nomenclature and the Taric concerning in particular : - the classification of goods in the nomenclatures referred to in Article 8, -explanatory notes; (b)amendments to the combined nomenclature to take account of changes in requirements relating to statistics or to commercial policy; (c)amendments to Annex II; (d)amendments to the combined nomenclature and adjustments to duties in accordance with decisions adopted by the Council or the Commission; (e)amendments to the combined nomenclature intended to adapt it to take account of technological or commercial developments or aimed at the alignment or clarification of texts; (f)amendments to the combined nomenclature resulting from changes to the harmonized system nomenclature; (g)questions relating to the application, functioning and management of the harmonized system to be discussed within the Customs Cooperation Council. 2. The provisions adopted under paragraph 1 shall not amend : - the rates of customs duties, -agricultural levies, refunds or other amounts applicable within the framework of the common agricultural policy or within that of specific schemes applicable to certain goods resulting from the processing of agricultural products, -quantitative restrictions laid down under Community provisions, -nomenclatures adopted within the framework of the common agricultural policy.

5. À la date visée au paragraphe 4 du présent article, les nomenclatures statistiques de chaque partie contractante ainsi que sa nomenclature tarifaire ou, dans le cas prévu au paragraphe 1 alinéa c) de l'article 3, sa nomenclature tarifaire et statistique combinée doivent être rendues conformes au système harmonisé amendé.
5. The statistical nomenclatures of each Contracting Party and its customs tariff nomenclature or, in the case provided for under paragraph 1 (c) of Article 3, its combined tariff statistical nomenclature, shall be brought into conformity with the amended Harmonized System on the date specified in paragraph 4 of this Article.
