Il est instauré une nomenclature des marchandises, ci-après dénommée « nomenclature combinée » ou, en abrégé, « NC », qui remplit à la fois les exigences du tarif douanier commun et des statistiques du commerce extérieur de la Communauté. 2. La nomenclature combinée reprend : a) la nomenclature du système harmonisé; b)les subdivisions communautaires de cette nomenclature, dénommées « sous-positions NC » lorsque des taux de droits sont spécifiés en regard de celles-ci; c)les dispositions préliminaires, les notes complémentaires de sections ou de chapitres et les notes de bas de page se rapportant aux sous-positions NC. 3.
