À ce jour, l'agence SAPARD a lancé deux invitations publiques à soumissionner (janvier 2002 et novembre 2002) pour quatre mesures arrêtées dans le plan de développement rural (en dehors de la mesure d'assistance technique) : investissements dans les exploitations agricoles (élevage de bétail et transformation), investissements dans la restructuration et l'adaptation de l'industrie de la transformation alimentaire (lait, viande et poisson), aide à la diversification économique des exploitations agricoles (tourisme à la ferme et métiers artisanaux) et l'infrastructure rurale en tant que quatrième mesure (infrastructure d'approvisionnement en eau, pistes thématiques et infrastructure routière).
So far, SAPARD Agency has published two open invitations to tender (January 2002 and November 2002) for four measures laid down in the Rural Development Plan (other than the technical assistance measure): investments in agricultural holdings (livestock breeding and processing); investment in restructuring and adaptation of the food-processing industry (milk, meat and fish); support for economic diversification of farms (on-farm tourism and handicraft); and rural infrastructure as the fourth measure (water supply infrastructure, theme trails and road infrastructure).

Sans préjudice de l’article 3, paragraphe 1, de la directive 2000/13/CE et des articles 13, 14 et 15 du règlement (CE) no 1760/2000, à chaque étape de la production et de la commercialisation, les opérateurs apposent sur les viandes issues de bovins âgés de douze mois au plus des étiquettes comportant les informations ci-après:
1. Without prejudice to Article 3(1) of Directive 2000/13/EC and Articles 13, 14 and 15 of Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000, at each stage of production and marketing, operators shall label the meat of bovine animals aged 12 months or less with the following information:

Calls for feed in dairy and meat production to be reviewed, and where necessary improved, with the aim of achieving a reduction in methane formation in the rumen of ruminants; calls for any feeding and breeding measures in the livestock sector to be subject to an animal health and welfare impact assessment and for such measures not to be introduced if there are any adverse effects on the animals concerned;

(3) Avant l'instauration de l'organisation commune des marchés dans le secteur des viandes ovine et caprine au sein de la Communauté, l'île de Man appliquait, dans le cadre de son organisation locale des marchés, certains mécanismes destinés à contrôler les importations de viande ovine dans l'île, afin de garantir que les besoins d'approvisionnement du commerce puissent être satisfaits, tout en évitant que la structure de production de la viande ovine et, d'une manière indirecte, la production de bétail bovin de l'île et son propre système de soutien agricole soient affectés par des distorsions.
(3) Before the introduction of the common organisation of the market in sheepmeat and goatmeat within the Community, the Isle of Man, as part of its local market organisation, applied certain mechanisms to control imports of sheepmeat into the Island in order to ensure that the need to supply the requirements of the trade could be met whilst avoiding distortions in the pattern of sheep production and, indirectly, in cattle production on the Island and in its own agricultural support system.

À la suite de l'instabilité du marché de la viande bovine et des produits à base de viande bovine due à la crise de l'encéphalopathie spongiforme bovine, l'amélioration de la transparence des conditions de production et de commercialisation des produits concernés, notamment en matière de traçabilité, a eu un effet positif sur la consommation de viande bovine.
Following the instability in the market in beef and beef products caused by the bovine spongiform encephalopathy crisis, the improvement in the transparency of the conditions for the production and marketing of the products concerned, particularly as regards traceability, has exerted a positive influence on consumption of beef.

(4) À la suite de l'instabilité du marché de la viande bovine et des produits à base de viande bovine due à la crise de l'encéphalopathie spongiforme bovine, l'amélioration de la transparence des conditions de production et de commercialisation des produits concernés, notamment en matière de traçabilité, a eu un effet positif sur la consommation de viande bovine.
