Beneficiary countries shall convert the amounts of expenditure incurred in national currency into euro using the monthly accounting rate of the euro established by the Commission for the month during which the expenditure was registered in the accounts of the national fund or the operating structure concerned, as appropriate’.

Le Comité préconise que, compte tenu de l’entrée en vigueur d’un nombre croissant d’accords commerciaux de l’Union européenne et, partant, de la multiplication des mécanismes de suivi par la société civile, la Commission garantisse désormais au plus vite la disponibilité des fonds nécessaires pour permettre le bon fonctionnement desdits mécanismes.
The Committee would urge that, given the increasing number of EU trade agreements entering into force and the consequent increase in the number of civil society monitoring mechanisms in place, the Commission must now urgently ensure that the necessary funds are made available for to enable those mechanisms to operate effectively.
