On the basis of the estimate, the Commission shall enter in the preliminary draft general budget of the European Union, which it shall place before the budgetary authority, in accordance with Article 272 of the Treaty establishing the European Community, the estimates it deems necessary for the establishment plan and the amount of the subsidy to be charged to that budget.

Sur la base de cet état prévisionnel, la Commission inscrit à l’avant-projet de budget général de l’Union européenne les crédits qu’elle juge nécessaires compte tenu du tableau des effectifs et du montant de la subvention à imputer sur le budget général et saisit l’autorité budgétaire de cet avant-projet, conformément à l’article 272 du traité.
7. On the basis of the estimate, the Commission shall enter in the preliminary draft general budget of the European Union the estimates it deems necessary for the establishment plan and the amount of the subsidy to be charged to the general budget, which it shall place before the budgetary authority in accordance with Article 272 of the Treaty.

La Commission a voté l'avant-projet de budget à l'unanimité. La discussion a été objective et précise. Cette unanimité est aussi le fruit de la préparation à nouveau excellente de l'avant-projet de budget par la direction générale et, avant tout, par le directeur général, M. Mingasson.
The Commission was unanimous in deciding on the preliminary draft Budget after a very matter-of-fact discussion, and the unanimity was due, among other things, to the preliminary draft Budget again being so well prepared by the Directorate-General and above all by its Director-General, Mr Mingasson.

3. Tout avant-projet de budget supplémentaire et/ou rectificatif doit être soumis au Conseil, en règle générale au plus tard à la date prévue pour le dépôt de l'avant-projet de budget de l'exercice suivant.
3. All preliminary draft supplementary and/or amending budgets must, as a general rule, be forwarded to the Council by apply the date laid down for the submission of the preliminary draft budget for the following financial year.
