- (DE) Monsieur le Président, bien que M. Leinen nous ait invités à prendre en considération la forêt de la Constitution tout entière, et non ses arbres individuels, je me dois, en tant que porte-parole de la commission de l’industrie, d’accorder une certaine attention aux arbres de la politique industrielle, dont je souhaiterais pour certains qu’ils s’épanouissent mieux que ne le prévoit la Constitution.
– (DE) Mr President, although Mr Leinen has enjoined us to consider the whole forest of the Constitution, and not just individual trees, I must, as spokesman for the Committee on Industry, give brief attention to the trees of industrial policy, some of which I might wish would grow better than the Constitution makes provision for.
