Urges the EU, and particularly the EEAS, to continue to promote the universality of the Rome Statute and of the APIC and the fight against impunity, as well as respect for, cooperation with and assistance to the Court in the context of EU relations with third countries, including within the framework of the Cotonou Agreement and of dialogues between the EU and regional organisations, such as the African Union, the Arab League, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); emphasises the importance of promoting the ratification and application of the Rome Statute for the Court in the EU's bilateral dialogues on human rights with third countries;
