Conformément aux demandes figurant dans la feuille de route de Bratislava et dans les conclusions du Conseil européen d'octobre, les avancées importantes réalisées au cours du mois écoulé comprennent notamment l'entrée en service du corps européen de garde-frontières et de garde-côtes le 6 octobre dernier, des discussions approfondies sur les mesures prises actuellement par le réseau européen de sensibilisation à la radicalisation en particulier à l'égard des jeunes présentant un risque de radicalisation, ainsi que la proposition de la Commission, présentée aujourd'hui, de créer un système européen d'autorisation et d'information concernant les voyages (ETIAS), qui fait suite à l'annonce formulée à ce sujet en septembre par le président Juncker dans son discours sur l'état de l'Union 2016.
In line with the calls made by the Bratislava roadmap and the October European Council conclusions, important steps forward made over the past month include the launch of the European Border and Coast Guard on 6 October, in-depth discussions about the action being taken by the Radicalisation Awareness Network in particular with respect to young people at risk of radicalisation, as well as today's proposal for a European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), following the announcement in September by President Juncker in his 2016 State of the Union address.
