2. Par dérogation au paragraphe 1, les services de taxi aérien, le service médical d’urgence et les opérations de transport aérien commercial monopilote effectués au moyen d’avions sont soumis aux dispositions de l’article 8, paragraphe 4, et de l’annexe III, sous-partie Q, du règlement (CEE) no 3922/91, ainsi qu’aux dérogations nationales correspondantes fondées sur des évaluations des risques en matière de sécurité effectuées par les autorités compétentes.
2. By way of derogation from paragraph 1, air taxi, emergency medical service and single pilot CAT operations by aeroplanes shall be subject to Article 8(4) of Regulation (EEC) No 3922/91 and Subpart Q of Annex III to Regulation (EEC) No 3922/91 and to related national exemptions based on safety risk assessments carried out by the competent authorities.

Member States shall ensure that infrastructure for air traffic management is such as to permit the implementation of the Single European Sky in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 549/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council , Regulation (EC) No 550/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council , Regulation (EC) No 551/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Regulation (EC) No 552/2004, and of air transport operations, in order to improve the performance and sustainability of the European aviation system, of implementing rules and of Union specifications.
