Il convient d'établir une liste des pays tiers autorisés à délivrer des certificats de police sanitaire en vue de l'introduction dans l'Union de lots de salamandres, sur laquelle ne devraient figurer que les pays qui ont déjà fourni des garanties suffisantes pour la délivrance de certificats visant à empêcher toute certification trompeuse ou frauduleuse au moins équivalentes à celles prévues par la directive 96/93/CEE du Conseil .
A list of third countries approved for issuing animal health certificates for the introduction into the Union of consignments of salamanders should be established and limited to those countries which have already provided sufficient guarantees for issuing certificates to prevent misleading and fraudulent certification, at least equivalent to Council Directive 96/93/EC .

Cette proposition, qui a été transmise au Conseil le 1er octobre 1998, vise à mettre à jour la liste indicative des projets d'intérêt commun figurant à l'annexe de la décision 1245/96 (liste déjà mise à jour par la décision 1047/97), en modifiant la description de quatre projets déjà identifiés et en ajoutant à la liste quinze nouveaux projets.
This proposal, which was forwarded to the Council on 1 October 1998, aims at updating the indicative list of projects of common interest attached to Decision 1245/96 (already updated by Decision 1047/97), by amending the description of four projects already identified and by adding fifteen new projects to the list.

In particular, the Group looked at whether the annex of the draft Directive should include the lists adopted in Commission Directives 91/322 and 96/94 and a list of new substances, either studied by the Group when a third list of limit values was being prepared or recommended by the SCOEL and not yet included.

1. Member States shall likewise inform the Commission and the other Member States of the Type B inspection bodies which were recognized prior to the entry into force of this Directive and meet the criteria set out in paragraph 2 and which they have appointed, in accordance with the criteria set out there, to carry out the conformity assessment procedures in accordance with Annex IV and/or for periodic inspections of transportable pressure equipment defined in Article 2, to ensure continued compliance with the relevant provisions of Council Directives 94/55/EC and 96/49/EC in accordance with the procedures laid down in the annexes to these directives, including the specific tasks which these bodies carry out on behalf of the competent authority and the identification numbers assigned to them beforehand by the Commission.
