IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

50. souligne que la Cour de justice a énoncé dans sa décision du 14 avril 2015 que la Commission peut, à tout moment au cours de la procédure d'adoption d'un acte de l'Union par voie législative ordinaire, retirer une proposition pour autant que le Conseil n'ait pas encore statué sur celle-ci; demande donc à la Commission, en vue d'un meilleur équilibre interinstitutionnel, de consulter, en cas de retrait, en premier lieu le Parlement, en particulier après la première lecture, et à prendre dûment en compte son avis; renvoie à cet égard aux résolutions du Parlement du 15 janvier 2015;

Points out that the Court of Justice affirmed in its judgment of 14 April 2015 that the Commission may at any time in the course of the adoption of a Union act under the ordinary legislative procedure withdraw a proposal as long as the Council has not acted; calls, therefore, for the sake of interinstitutional balance, on the Commission, in the event of withdrawal, to first consult Parliament, especially after the first reading, and to duly take into account its positions; refers in this context in particular to Parliament’s resolutions of 15 January 2015;

50. La Commission pourrait aussi envisager de proposer une période d’attente après le dépôt d’un avis d’information, période pendant laquelle les parties ne pourraient pas clôturer l’opération et au terme de laquelle les États membres devraient décider s’ils demandent un renvoi.

Le CESE partage l'avis de la Commission selon lequel les 50 propositions et les 12 premiers leviers n'exploitent pas pleinement le potentiel du marché unique.
