Pursuant to Standing Order 93(1), the House proceeded to the putting of the question on the main motion, as amended, of Mr. Wappel (Scarborough Southwest) , seconded by Mr. Hubbard (Miramichi) , — That Bill C-398, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (food labelling) be not now read a second time but that the Order be discharged, the Bill withdrawn, and the subject-matter thereof referred to the Standing Committee on Health, to report back to the House on or before September 30, 2004.
