Ter illustratie geef ik graag een voorbeeld uit de revalidatie van patiënten met chronisch obstructieve longaandoeningen (COPD).

- Patients atteints d’une BPCO modérée à sévère (classes 2 et 3 dans la classification de GOLD ou Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease) présentant une exacerbation aiguë modérée à sévère.
- Patiënten met matig ernstige tot ernstige COPD (klassen 2 en 3 in de GOLDclassificatie; GOLD is het Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease), met een matig ernstige tot ernstige acute exacerbatie.

- Une prophylaxie peut être envisagée chez les patients à risque lors des interventions suivantes: cystoscopie ou examen urodynamique en cas d’infection urinaire, biopsie de la prostate ou des voies urinaires, chirurgie prostatique, dilatation uréthrale, dilatation œsophagienne, sclérose de varices œsophagiennes, interventions (endoscopiques ou chirurgicales) pour obstruction des voies biliaires, interventions gynécologiques en cas d'infection, chirurgie avec incision de la muqueuse intestinale, y compris une intervention pour une cholécystite ou l’ouverture d’un trajet de fistules anales.
