As far as the issue of global liquidity is concerned, I would emphasize that it is indeed important to start a regular process of monitoring and assess-ment and that central banks are best placed to monitor global liquidity develop-ments in the context of the central bank cooperative structures of the BIS in Ba-sle.
Met betrekking tot mondiale liquiditeit wil ik benadrukken dat het inderdaad belangrijk is te beginnen met regelmatige bewaking en beoordeling en dat de centrale banken het best in staat zijn ontwikkelingen op het gebied van mondiale liquiditeit te bewaken in het kader van de samenwerkingsverbanden van de BIB in Bazel.
