In order to ensure that the prohibition of certain fluorinated greenhouse gases is effective, there is a need to limit the possibility of retrofitting motor vehicles with air-conditioning systems designed to contain fluorinated greenhouse gases with a global warming potential higher than 150 and to prohibit filling air-conditioning systems with such gases.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat het verbod op bepaalde gefluoreerde broeikasgassen doeltreffend is, moeten er beperkingen worden gesteld aan de mogelijkheid om achteraf in voertuigen klimaatregelingssystemen in te bouwen die ontworpen zijn om gefluoreerde broeikasgassen te bevatten met een aardopwarmingsvermogen van meer dan 150, en moet het vullen van klimaatregelingssystemen met dergelijke gassen worden verboden.

In order to limit the emissions of certain fluorinated greenhouse gases from air conditioning systems in motor vehicles it is necessary to establish limit values for leakage rates and the test procedure for the assessment of leakage in air conditioning systems designed to contain fluorinated greenhouse gases with a global warming potential higher than 150 which are fitted to motor vehicles.
Om de emissie van bepaalde gefluoreerde broeikasgassen uit klimaatregelingssystemen in motorvoertuigen te verminderen, moeten er grenswaarden voor lekkage worden vastgesteld en moet er een testprocedure worden opgesteld voor de beoordeling van lekkage in klimaatregelingssystemen die ontworpen zijn om gefluoreerde broeikasgassen te bevatten met een aardopwarmingsvermogen van meer dan 150 en die in motorvoertuigen zijn ingebouwd.
