1. Polen neemt deel aan alle activiteiten in het kader van de programma's Caleidoscoop, Ariane en Raphaël, overeenkomstig, tenzij in dit besluit anders wordt bepaald, de doelstellingen, criteria, procedures en termijnen die zijn vastgelegd in Besluit nr. 719/96/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 29 maart 1996 tot vaststelling van een programma voor steun aan artistieke en culturele activiteiten met een Europese dimensie (hierna "Caleidoscoop" te noemen) (1), Besluit nr. 2085/97/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 6 oktober 1997 tot vaststelling van een programma voor steun op het gebied van het boek en het lezen, met inbegrip van vertalingen (hierna "Ariane" te noemen) (2), en Besluit nr. 2228/97/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 13 oktober 1997 tot vaststelling van een communautair actieprogramma op het gebied van het cultureel erfgoed (hierna "Rafaël" te noemen) (3).
