In recent times, a more artistic approach to circus performances has gained currency involving other arts, such as drama, theatre and dance.
Sinds kort wint een nieuwe vorm van circus steeds meer aan populariteit; er is daarbij sprake van een grotere artistieke inbreng, en andere kunstvormen zoals toneel, theater en dans worden erin verwerkt.
