TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

– (PT) I voted in favour of this report as I believe that: (1) a coherent and transparent framework for multilateral surveillance of macro-economic developments in the European Union and the Member States should be established, ensuring an annual debate between Parliament, the Commission, the Council and representatives from national parliaments on the Stability and Convergence Programmes (SCPs) and the National Reform Programmes (NRPs) and on assessing national economic developments; and that (2) a mechanism should be established at national level to assess the implementation of the Europe 2020 priorities and the achievement of the relevant national targets included in the National Reform Programme in order to support the yearly evaluation by the EU institutions.
– (PT) Ik heb voor dit verslag gestemd. It creates a Cooperation Council to ensure the smooth operation of the Agreement. And it provides for regular contact between the parties; for example, between their Parliaments and between the EU's Economic and Social Committee and its South-African counterpart, the National Economic Development and Labour Council.

26. The need to co-operate closely with international institutions such as the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, in developing the external dimension of the Strategy, taking into account the goals set by the World Summit on Sustainable Development and the UN Millennium declaration.
26. To the extent that national economic developments will influence monetary conditions in the euro-area, closer Community surveillance and coordination of economic policies among euro-area Member States will be necessary.
