(32) In order to ensure quality, traceability and compliance with this Regulation and adaptation to technical developments, the power to adopt certain acts should be delegated to the Commission in respect of establishing rules amending or supplementing the specific seaweed production rules as regards the suitability of the aquatic medium and the sustainable management plan, the harvesting of wild seaweed, seaweed cultivation, and antifouling measures and cleaning of production equipment and facilities, and in respect of the establishment of rules supplementing the specific production rules for aquaculture animals as regards the suitability of the aquatic medium and the sustainable management plan, the origin of aquaculture animals, aquaculture husbandry, including aquatic containment systems, production systems and maximum stocking density, breeding, management of aquaculture animals, feed and feeding, and disease prevention and veterinary treatment.
(32) Om kwaliteit, traceerbaarheid, naleving van deze verordening en aanpassing aan technische ontwikkelingen te garanderen, moet de Commissie ertoe worden gemachtigd handelingen vast te stellen met betrekking tot voorschriften tot wijziging of aanvulling van de specifieke voorschriften voor de zeewierproductie, onder meer aangaande de geschiktheid van het aquatische medium en het duurzaambeheerplan, de oogst van wild zeewier, zeewierteelt, groeiwerende behandelingen en reiniging van productieapparatuur en productievoorzieningen, met betrekking tot voorschriften tot aanvulling van de specifieke voorschriften voor de productie van aquacultuurdieren, onder meer aangaande de geschiktheid van het aquatische medium en het duurzaambeheerplan, de oorsprong van aquacultuurdieren, aquacultuurhouderij, waaronder aquatische inperkingssystemen, productiesystemen en maximale bezettingsdichtheid, reproductie, beheer van aquacultuurdieren, voeder en vervoedering, ziektepreventie en diergeneeskundige behandeling.

In order to promote environmentally, socially and economically sustainable aquaculture, it should be possible for the EMFF to support aquaculture activities which highly respect the environment, the conversion of aquaculture enterprises to eco-management, the use of audit schemes as well as the conversion to organic aquaculture.
Om ecologisch, sociaal en economisch duurzame aquacultuur te bevorderen, moet uit het EFMZV steun kunnen worden verleend voor zeer milieuvriendelijke aquacultuuractiviteiten, voor de invoering van ecobeheer in aquacultuurbedrijven, voor het gebruik van auditregelingen en voor de omschakeling naar biologische aquacultuur.

Calls on the Commission to consider all the legal means at its disposal to reduce the negative effects of cormorant populations on fishing and aquaculture and to take into account, when developing its initiative for the promotion of aquaculture in Europe, the positive effects of a Europe-wide cormorant population management plan and, where appropriate, to propose solutions to the cormorant problem in this context;
11. roept de Commissie op alle beschikbare wettelijke instrumenten te evalueren om de negatieve gevolgen van de aalscholverpopulatie op de visbestanden en de aquacultuur te beperken en in haar verdere initiatieven ter bevordering van de aquacultuur in Europa de positieve effecten van een Europees beheersplan voor de aalscholverpopulatie in aanmerking te nemen en eventueel in deze context voorstellen te doen voor het oplossen van de aalscholverproblematiek;

[34] These include marine ecosystems, land-ocean interactions, development of effective monitoring of coastal processes to underpin management, coastal protection against flooding and erosion, integrated management and sustainable use of water resources at catchment scale, coastal cities, aquaculture research and the effects of the interactions between environment, fisheries and aquaculture, development of ecological quality indicators and methodologies to identify and analyse the social and economic factors affecting the different sectors of coastal communities (under the programme for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development and that for Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources).
[34] Hieronder vallen: mariene ecosystemen, interacties tussen land en oceaan, ontwikkeling van een effectieve monitoring van kustprocessen als basis voor het beheer, bescherming van de kust tegen overstromingen en erosie, geïntegreerd beheer en duurzaam gebruik van waterreserves op stroomgebied-schaal, kuststeden, onderzoek naar aquacultuur en effecten van de interacties tussen milieu, visserij en aquacultuur, ontwikkeling van indicatoren voor ecologische kwaliteit en methodologieën voor de identificatie en analyse van de sociale en economische factoren die de verschillende sectoren van kustgemeenschappen beïnvloeden (in het kader van het programma voor Energie, milieu en duurzame ontwikkeling en dat voor Kwaliteit van het bestaan en beheer van de biologische hulpbronnen).

7) The new Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance (FIFG) regulation also provides opportunities to support the collection of basic data and preparation of environmental management models for fisheries and aquaculture and for sustainable use of marine resources, with a view to drawing up integrated management plans for coastal areas; it also provides the possibility of funding a few pilot projects aimed at improving the links between fisheries/aquaculture and the ICZM process.
7) Het nieuwe Financieringsinstrument voor de oriëntatie van de visserij (FIOV) biedt ook mogelijkheden voor de ondersteuning van de verzameling van fundamentele gegevens en de opstelling van modellen voor milieuzorg voor visserij en aquacultuur en voor het duurzaam gebruik van mariene hulpbronnen teneinde tot geïntegreerde beheersplannen voor kustgebieden te komen; tevens voorziet het in de mogelijkheid om enkele proefprojecten te financieren teneinde de koppeling tussen visserij/aquacultuur en het GBKG-proces te verbeteren.
