IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

When adopting delegated or implementing acts, the Commission should take due account of the standards and technical specifications drawn up by European and international standardisation organisations and bodies, in particular the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), with a view to ensuring a high level of security and interoperability of electronic identification and trust services.

Acties die krachtens deze beschikking worden uitgevoerd houden rekening met het werk van internationale organisaties zoals de Internationale Telecommunicatie-unie (ITU) bij het beheren van het radiospectrum, en de Europese conferentie van post- en telecommunicatieadministraties (CEPT), een intergouvernementele organisatie met 48 deelnemende landen.

‘In the absence of such standards and/or specifications, Member States shall encourage the implementation of international standards or recommendations adopted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)’.
