In the past, our committee has taken, on occasion, clear positions on commitology issues: to take only one example, in the context of the adoption of the TACIS regulation, our committee (and the European Parliament) resisted strongly the creation of a regulatory committee, which in practice, would have to approve each TACIS project beyond 1 Million ECU.
