At that meeting, an examination of the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council recasting Council Regulation (EC) No 2597/95 of 23 October 1995 on the submission of nominal catch statistics by Member States fishing in certain areas other than those of the North Atlantic resulted in the Consultative Working Party’s establishing, by common accord, that in Article 5(1) the wording "Standing Committee on Agricultural Statistics" should be adapted so as to read "Standing Committee for Agricultural Statistics".

Actions to enhance the co-ordination of national research programmes will be pursued wherever appropriate, in close co-ordination with ERA-Net projects, Technology Platforms and other relevant actors, such as the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR) or any future European maritime research co-ordination structure.

For the purposes of implementing Title IV, the Commission shall be assisted by the Committee on the Development and Conversion of Regions and by the Committee on Agricultural Structures and Rural Development established by Articles 48 and 50 respectively of Council Regulation (EC) No 1260/1999 of 21 June 1999 laying down general provisions on the Structural Funds.
Voor de uitvoering van Titel IV wordt de Commissie bijgestaan door het comité voor de ontwikkeling en omschakeling van de regio's en het comité voor de landbouwstructuur en de plattelandsontwikkeling, die zijn ingesteld bij respectievelijk artikel 48 en artikel 50 van verordening (EG) nr. 1260/1999 van de Raad van 21 juni 1999 houdende algemene bepalingen inzake de Structuurfondsen.
