c.Increase awareness and prioritise joint actions and exchange of best practises, in close cooperation with the UN, regional organizations and civil society, including the 10 year global initiative (Convention against torture Initiative, CTI), to achieve global ratification and implementation of the UN Convention against Torture (CAT) by 2024 and to promote the ratification and implementation of its Optional Protocol (OPCAT) and the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

As regards the observance of international human rights law some progress was made, notably through the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention against Torture (OPCAT).
