TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Derogation from the prohibition of financing and financial assistance relating to certain goods and technology should be provided with regard to activities undertaken by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in accordance with paragraph 10 of United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 2118(2013).
Overeenkomstig punt 10 van Resolutie 2118(2013) van de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties (VN) moet in een afwijking van het verbod op financiering en financiële bijstand in verband met bepaalde goederen en technologie worden voorzien ten behoeve van de activiteiten van de Organisatie voor het verbod van chemische wapens (OPCW).

– having regard to the strategic document ‘Preparation for a food and nutrition crisis in the Sahel and neighbouring countries’, prepared jointly and updated in February 2012 by Action Against Hunger, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) and the World Food Programme (WFP), and launched as a strategy to better respond to the risk of a new food and nutritional crisis in the Sahel in 2012 on behalf of the IASC Regional Food Security and Nutrition Working Group,
– gezien het strategiedocument over de voorbereiding op een voedsel- en nutritionele crisis in de Sahel en de buurlanden ervan („Preparation for a food and nutrition crisis in the Sahel and neighbouring countries”), dat gezamenlijk is opgesteld en in februari 2012 is bijgewerkt door Action Against Hunger, de Voedsel- en Landbouworganisatie van de Verenigde Naties (FAO), het Bureau van de Verenigde Naties voor de Coördinatie van Humanitaire Aangelegenheden (OCHA), het Kinderfonds van de Verenigde Naties (Unicef) en het Wereldvoedselprogramma (WFP) en op grond waarvan een strategie is opgestart om beter te reageren op het risico van een nieuwe voedsel- en nutritionele crisis in de Sahel in 2012 namens de werkgroep continuïteit van de regionale voedselvoorziening en voeding van de IASC,

7. Calls on the Commission, in supporting the development of regional airports and the construction of new regional airports (especially in countries whose national airports are situated in remote areas), to pay particular regard to the balanced territorial development of regions corresponding to levels I and II of the Nomenclature of Territorial Statistical Units (NUTS) in order to ensure innovation and competitiveness in regions which are a long way from the capital city and do not enjoy good transport access, and to facilitate the development of real economic and transport hubs;
7. verzoekt de Commissie om in het kader van haar steun voor de ontwikkeling van regionale luchthavens en de bouw van nieuwe regionale luchthavens – vooral in landen met nationale luchthavens die zich in afgelegen gebieden bevinden – bijzondere aandacht te besteden aan de evenwichtige territoriale ontwikkeling van NUTS 1- en NUTS 2-regio's ter waarborging van innovatie en concurrentiekracht in regio's die ver van hun hoofdstad verwijderd zijn en die geen toegang hebben tot goede transportverbindingen, en om de ontwikkeling van echte economische en transporthubs te vergemakkelijken;

- gezien Resolutie 1325(200) van de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties (VN) van 31 oktober 2000 over vrouwen, vrede en veiligheid (verder: UNSCR 1325(2000)), die bevestigt dat het belangrijk is dat vrouwen gelijk worden behandeld met mannen en volledig betrokken worden, wat de inspanningen voor de handhaving en bevordering van vrede en veiligheid betreft,

a comprehensive peace that should be achieved on the basis of the relevant United Nations (‘UN’) Security Council Resolutions, the Madrid principles, the Roadmap, the agreements previously reached by the parties and the Arab Peace Initiative;
een alomvattende vrede die moet worden verwezenlijkt op basis van de desbetreffende resoluties van de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties („VN”), de beginselen van Madrid, de routekaart, de eerder door de partijen bereikte akkoorden en het Arabisch vredesinitiatief;

22. Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the European Council, the Commission, the governments and parliaments of the Member States and candidate countries, the Co-Presidents of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, the Secretaries-General of the United Nations, African Union, Commonwealth, OECD and Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly, United Nations Security Council, United Nations Economic and Social Council, European Investment Bank, World Bank and International Monetary Fund, and the Directors-General of the Food and Agriculture Programme, World Food Programme, United Nations Development Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
22. verzoekt zijn Voorzitter deze resolutie te doen toekomen aan de Europese Raad, de Commissie, de regeringen en parlementen van de lidstaten en de kandidaat-landen, de covoorzitters van de ACS-EU Paritaire Parlementaire Vergadering, de secretarissen-generaal van de Verenigde Naties, de Afrikaanse Unie, het Gemenebest, de OESO en de Interparlementaire Unie, de voorzitters van de Algemene Vergadering van de Verenigde Naties, de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties, de Economische en Sociale Raad van de Verenigde Naties, de Europese Investeringsbank, de Wereldbank, het Internationaal Monetair Fonds en de directeurs-generaal van het Voedsel- en Landbouwprogramma (FAO), het Wereldvoedselprogramma (WFP), het Ontwikkelingsprogramma van de Verenigde Naties (UNDP) en het Internationaal Fonds voor de Ontwikkeling van de Landbouw (IFAD).

Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the Council, the Commission, the governments and parliaments of the EU Member States and applicant countries, the Co-Presidents of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, the Secretaries-General of the United Nations, African Union, Commonwealth, OECD, Interparliamentary Union and Organisation of the Islamic Conference, the Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly, United Nations Security Council, United Nations Economic and Social Council, European Investment Bank, World Bank and International Monetary Fund, and the Directors-General of the Food and Agriculture Programme (FAO), World Food Programme (WFP), and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
