The EU will support and promote mainstreaming of adaptation concerns and national action plans for climate change reported in national communications or national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs), where they exist, into strategic frameworks such as national strategies for sustainable development (nssds) and PRSPs.

4.2.5. The EC economic and development co-operation strategies and programmes must take into account the partner countries' own NSSDs and environmental action plans, when available.
